Former Sri Lanka U19 captain and current Colombo FC striker Zarwan Johar was adjudged Most Outstanding Football Player of the Year for 2015 at the 1st Presidential Sports Awards, held last evening.
Zarwan is a former Zahira College player and the prodigy has grown up to be one of the most sort after young talents in the country. He was selected for a training camp at the world famous Manchester United and he captained the Sri Lanka U19 side in 2013-14.
His rise saw him included into the Sri Lanka squad at a young age and he has since been an important part of the side. Zarwan started his club career at his home town club, Java Lane SC before moving to the double champions, Colombo FC late last year.
