Yasodha Mendis’ all-round performance helped Sri Lanka Women cricket team to beat India by 11 runs in their one-day tour game, which played at ACA Academy Stadium, Vizianagaram on Friday.
Sri Lanka Women batting first made 185 runs. Opener Yasodha Mendis scored 53 runs off 62 balls including one six and eight fours. Mendis put on a 87-run vital partnership for the first wicket with Chamara Atapattu (30). In reply, India Women cricketers were collapsed to 174 as Mendis took two for 27 with her right arm medium.
