Sri Lanka Cricket officially announced that the two legendary national cricketers Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardena are going to be brought in front of a disciplinary committee over the statements they made at the media conference held at the airport on the 8th of April 2014 on the return with the World T20 cup.
Despite early declarations to the contrary, the SLC Executive Committee have decided to refer these statements to the Disciplinary Committee for their views and recommendations.
