Sri Lankan leg spinning all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga has returned to the island from Australia.
Hasaranga who tested positive for Covid-19 during Sri Lanka’s tour of Australia, couldn’t fully recover ahead of the India T20Is and as a result, had to remain in Australia until he returned a negative test.
Due to quarantine requirements, Hasaranga will not be eligible for selection for the next two games against India and so returned to Sri Lanka.
The second T20I match of the 3-match series between Sri Lanka and India will be played tomorrow (26th February) in Dharmasala.
