DS Senanayake College vs Bandaranayaka College
The Dons decided to bat first in the group ‘A’ encounter which started today in Bandaragama. Hard-hitting left-hander Vihan Gunasekara was the shining light as he stroked 60 runs to help them to a decent total.
Chasing a below-par 173 the lads Gampaha dismantled by discipline bowling efforts from DS Senanayake College as they registered first innings points in the opening day. DS Senanayake left-arm spinner Methushan Kumara was almost unplayable as he claimed 6 scalps to demolish the Bandaranayake boys.
