England completed a 3-0 whitewash against Sri Lanka registering their first series sweep in 5 years. Jonny Bairstow returning to the English Test XI after a injury layoff won the Man of the Match award for his 110 runs in the 1st innings which helped England win the 3rd and final match by 42 runs. The match was played at the Sinhalese Sports Club grounds.
