The thrilling Girl’s 4X100m relay finals of the Ritzbury Sir John Tarbet Athletic Championship which was held from the 19th to the 21st of September at the Sugathdasa Stadium.
- Girl’s – Under 16 4X100 Final
St. Bridget’s Convent Colombo won the Under 16 4X100m relay ahead of Bishop’s College, Colombo and Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya who were placed second and third respectively.
- Girl’s – Under 18 4X100 Final
Gamini National College, Benthota delivered a stunning race in the Girl’s Under 18 4X100m final which earned them a new meet record becoming the first Under 18 Girls’ team to dip under 50 second in the event. Gateway college secured Silver while Sir John Kothalawala College Kurunegala won the Bronze medal.
- Girl’s – Under 20 4X100 Final
Walala A Rathnayake College was a class apart from the rest as they secured a comfortable win in the Girl’s Under 20 4X100m final adding another Gold medal to their tally, Musaeus College, Colombo were placed second while Lyceum International, Wattala secured the third place.
