The under 16 15-a-side Schools’ Rugby Championship final, which was set to kick off on the 1st of October, has been brought forward to Friday, 29th September 2017 and will be worked off at the Racecourse grounds.

The under 16 15-a-side semifinals, held on Monday (25th), saw Isipathana College and Science College qualifying for the finals. The final was initially scheduled to take place on the 1st of October but due to the unavailability of a venue, the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association has decided to shift the game to the 29th.
The games will commence at 1.00 p.m. with the Saucer trophy final which will be followed by the battles for the Shield, Bowl, Plate and Cup trophies.
