It was a run fest at Welagedara grounds, Kurunegala as Devapathiraja College duo Jeewaka Shasheen and Pathum Madusanka punished St. Mary’s bowlers all over the park.
Match ended as a draw, but the double century made by young Jeewaka Shasheen and century on second innings by Pathum Madusanka were the highlights of the day 01 & 02.

Left arm orthodox spinner Gishan Balasooriya’s 5 wicket haul wasn’t enough to halt the visitors gaining the first innings points as they were able to score 10 more runs than Royal’s 1st innings.
