The Singer Under 19 Division One School’s fixture between Zahira College Colombo and President’s College Kotte was worked off at the Zahira College grounds this morning.
After winning the toss President’s College captain opted to bowl first. The Zahirians were off to a decent start as the boys from Kotte struggled to look for wickets early on. As the match progressed Shashika Nirmala did his magic with the ball troubling the Zahira batsmen picking up four crucial wickets whilst Thevin Thewmika’s supportive role paved the way to limit the flow of runs.
