U19 Inter-Schools Division 1 Tier B Limited Overs Tournament 2023

Defending runners up Thurstan College, Colombo will meet  Lumbini College, Colombo in the final of the U19 Division 1 Tier B Inter-Schools Limited Overs Tournament tomorrow (28th November) at Surrey Grounds, Maggona.

This tournament is conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket.

Last year runners up Thurstan College Colombo advanced to the quarter final as champion in their group. They beat Dharmaraja College Kandy in the quarter final and overcame last year champions St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya in the semi final and advanced to the final.

Lumbini College Colombo advanced to the quarter final as runner up in their group and they beat St. Aloysius College Galle in the quarter final. Lumbini College Colombo beat Ananda College Colombo in the semi final and advanced to the final.

Sri Lanka youth cap Vihas Thewmika will lead Thurstan College Colombo and Lumbini College Colombo will be led by Sahan Kaushalya. Lumbini College Colombo beat Thurstan College Colombo in the first round fixture.
