The ultimate game in the U19 Division I schools cricket tournament quarter final phase ended today with Isipathana College reserving their spot in the semifinals in the tier ‘B’.
Batting first Isipathana College, Colombo Posted 156 thanks to Kevin Samuel’s valuable 53 runs. In reply St. Aloysius College, Galle fell 6 runs short of the Pathana 1st innings total. Isipathana skipper Sithuka Gunawardene finished with bowling figures of 6 for 33 dismantling the Aloysius batting unit.

The game continued as St. Aloysius looked to find a way back into the game but Kevin Samuel stood strong against the Aloysius bowlers yet again with scoring 73 runs and occupying the crease for a long time.Channel Dinod Playing a vital knock of 40 runs made sure Isipathana College had safely secured that semifinals spot.
