The boys from Darley Road put up an all-round performance to register a 45 run victory against Bandaranayake College. Jehan Fernandopulle’s unbeaten 80 guided the Josephians to 233 and in reply Bandaranayake was bowled out for just 188.

It was thriller of a match at the St Peter’s College grounds as the game went down to the wire with both teams fighting hard to snatch victory. DS posted 238 runs after they decided to bat first; Santhush Jayathilaka bagged six wickets for the home side. In reply, St Peter’s struggled but got over the line in the last over with two balls and two wickets to spare.

POW had a walk in the park against minnows Sri Devananda College at Moratuwa. The home side posted 269 and in reply Sri Devananda was bowled out for just 117 which gave POW a massive 152 run victory.

A brilliant bowling performance by Gurukula College saw them registering an easy 8 wicket victory against Dharmapala College. Dharmapala College was bowled out for just 84 runs with Pasidu Upeka’s four wicket haul. Gurukula ot over the line in just 16.5 overs, losing just two wickets.
