Nalanda College, Colombo entered the semi-finals of the Singer U-15 cricket tournament when they defeated Holy Cross College, Kalutara based on points, as the match was stopped due to inclement weather.
Nalanda College resumed day 2 needing 197 more to gain a first innings lead with 9 wickets in hand. Overnight batsman Avishka Perera was dismissed after a splendid 63. The bowlers kept picking wickets at regular intervals but Raveen de Silva held up one end to take his team closer to the total.
