The S. Thomas’ College Old Thomian Basketball Union organized an invitational Basketball Tournament held on the 8th and 9th of December 2012.
This inaugural tournament was played with the objective of uplifting and promoting the sport amongst junior athletes in the country. The tournament facilitated a total of 8 boys School basketball teams, along with 6 girls Schools school basketball teams in the Under 14 age category.
The tournament was played for the ‘Ram Sundaralingam Memorial Challenge Trophy’. Results of the final matches are as follows;
Boys Final – Lyceum International School Nugegoda vs. Royal College Colombo
