Sri Lanka’s U19 players Shevon Daniel and Lahiru Dawatage have been picked to play in inaugural Pakistan Junior League.
Sri Lanka had named five players, Shevon Daniel, Lahiru Dawatage, Anjala Bandara, Malsha Tharupathi and Lahiru Abeysinghe in the player draft of the Pakistan Junior League initially. However, only Daniel and Dawatage were picked by the franchises in the draft held yesterday (08th September).

The dashing left-hander Shevon Daniel will play for Gujranwala Giants while wicket-keeper batter Lahiru Dawatage will represent Hyderabad Hunters in the inaugural Pakistan Junior League.
Six franchise teams, namely Bahawalpur Royals, Gujranwala Giants, Gwadar Sharks, Hyderabad Hunters, Mardan Warriors and Rawalpindi Raiders will take part in the competition. The first edition of Pakistan Junior League will be held from 06th to 21st October at Gaddafi Stadium in Pakistan.
