Sri Lanka were hit with two injury blows in the 2nd T20I between the hosts and West Indies at the Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium.

Kusal Perera was hit on his right index finger while trying to gather a delivery by Lasith Malinga down the leg side in the 1st over of the Windies chase. The wicket-keeper then left the field in some pain, escorted by the team physio. He was replaced in the field by Niroshan Dickwella.
Later on in the innings, Wanindu Hasaranga went down at the boundary line holding his hamstring. The leg-spinner looked to be in a bit of pain, with the medical staff attending to him just outside the boundary before helping him off.
The severity of the injuries have not been confirmed yet.
