The inter-school cricket encounter between Trinity College and Sri Sumangala which commenced yesterday ended early today with Trinity recording yet another win.
Sri Sumangala College continued their 2nd innings today after a disappointed first innings and managed to score 80 runs with the entire batting line up crashing out due to some superlative bowling performance by the Trinity College bowlers.
V.R De Silva scored 30 runs while G. S. Amarasinghe scored 20 runs. Lakshan Jayasinghe, Raveen Kshaya, Charith Sudharaka were on top of their game getting the better of their counterparts Sumangala College grabbing 5, 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
With this Trinity College continued their great run in the inter school cricket arean recording another convincing win. The Lions won the match by an innings and 134 runs.
