Fifty four players from 15 member firms will be seen in action at the Inaugural Travel Trade Sports Club Pool Tournament 2014, sponsored by Yenesha Travels (Pvt) Ltd., to be held this Saturday, 31st May at “Shotz” Pool Palour, Excel World, Colombo 10, commencing 2.00 pm.
The Firms Participating are :
Aitken Spence Travels (06 players), Cinnamon Grand Colombo (06 players), Walkers/Whittalls (05 players), Hayleys Travels & Tours, Classic Travels, Luxe Asia, Exotic Holidays, Amja Travels, Amadeus Lanka, Sri Lankan Airlines, Mackinnons American Express Travels & Serendib Leisure (all 03 players each), Hotel Elephant Reach, Amaya Resorts & Spa (02 players each) & Go-Holidays (01 player).
The tournament will be conducted on a semi-knock out format, with the Quarter Finalists vying for the “Cup”, “Plate”, “Bowl” & the “Shield”.
The official sponsorship presentation ceremony took place yesterday at Yenesha Travels (Pvt) Ltd., office at Seeduwa, where, Shanaka Fernando, their General Manager handed over the cheque to the President /TTSC, Denesh Silva.
Also Present at the occasion were Shan Perera, from Singapore Airlines, the Co-ordinator of the tournament and Tyrone Perera, Sports Events Co-ordinator / TTSC.
