Rain and a wet outfield sees the last match of the tour called off without a ball being bowled.
Heavy and persistent rain denied Zimbabwe there last chance of a win on their white ball tour of South Africa when the third and final T20 International in Benoni was abandoned without a ball being bowled. There was some hope when the rain stopped around 25 minutes before the scheduled start but it soon returned to end hopes of any cricket getting under way.
This no result means South Africa win the T20I series 2-0 having already completed a 3-0 whitewash over Zimbabwe in the ODI series.
Another big downpour came and the umpires have called the match. Congratulations South Africa on their 2-0 series win. #ProteaFire #SAvZIM pic.twitter.com/lcMPVcZE9d
