Thilak Watthuhewa Principal of Nalanda College Colombo re-elected unanimously to new President of Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association in the 73rd Annual General Meeting was held at Ministry of Education on yesterday.
Former Secretary J.A.K.S. Indrajith, former senior deputy president Oshara Panditharathne and former treasurer Manjula Vaz were also re-elected to those positions unanimously.
Meanwhile, Susantha Mendis (Principal, Science College Mt. Lavinia), Jagath Senarathne (Principal, P. De S. Kularathne MV Ambalangoda), Ranjith Rajapaksha (Principal, Ranabima Royal College Kandy), Prasanna Senevirathne (Principal, Vidyaloka College, Galle) and Mrs. Hema Jayawardene (Principal, Rathnawalia Balika Vidyalaya) were elected as vice presidents of the association.
Former assistant secretary Leelananda Kumarasiri, former technical officer Viraj Chaminda De Silva and former Under 19 tournament secretary Y. Nishantha Kumara were re-elected to those posts. In addition, 39 Executive members were elected for the association on district basic.

- Senior Deputy President – Oshara Panditharathne (Principal, Isipathana College Colombo)
- Treasurer – Manjula Vaz (St. Peter’s College Negombo)
