    ThePapare.com met up with the former England skipper Martin Corry on his visit to the Island last week.

    The former England skipper who is involved with Land Rover came down as a part of his development programme for rugby to conduct a coaching camp for Navy rugby.

    Corry represented Leicester Tigers, Bristol, British and Irish Lions and finally England where he represented his country in 64 matches finishing as captain in his final years of rugby. Since making his Tigers debut in August 1997, Martin has won 5 Premiership titles, a Premiership championship, two Heineken cups and an Anglo-Welsh cup after earlier spells with Bristol and Newcastle Gosforth. He was a member of the 2003 world cup winning side and also went on to represent the runner-up 2007 side during the final parts of his career.
