The much awaited under 19 inter-schools cricket season 2015/16 will kick-off on August 28th and 29th with Isipathana College playing a traditional fixture with Vidyartha College, Kandy at BRC grounds.
The division one tournament matches are scheduled to commence from September for the third term while the eye-catching big matches will take place in March, 2016.
This season, the top division will consist 36 teams in 4 groups battling out for the supremacy in the best schools-cricket system in the world.
The 2014/15 division one two-day league winners were Trinity College, Kandy while D.S Senanayake College won the limited-overs title. St. Benedict’s College won the under 19 inter-schools T20 championship.
Singer Sri Lanka will once again sponsor the tournament.
