Asian International School, Colombo and Loyola College, Negombo won the 15th All Island Sri Lanka Schools Novices Aquatic Championships 2023.
The 4-day Swimming championships of the 15th All Island Sri Lanka Schools Novices Aquatic Championships 2023, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Association, concluded yesterday at the Sugathadasa Swimming Pool Complex.
Asian International School, Colombo won the overall Girls Championships with a total of 67 points, while St. Anthony’s Girls College became the runner-up in the girl’s category with 64 points. Furthermore, the previous year’s champions, Bishop’s College, finished 5th overall.

The overall Boy’s Championship was secured by Loyola College, Negombo for the first time in history, with 106 points. Ananda College, Colombo finished 2nd in line, while the 2022 Champions, the Thomians, finished 7th.
The next event in the Aquatic calendar is the 2-mile Mount Lavinia Sea Swim, organized by Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union, which is to take place on the 3rd and 4th of March 2023.
