Former Sri Lanka opener Upul tharanga has been named to lead the first unofficial test against the touring England lions starting on the 12th february at the Pallekelle stadium in Kandy.
Also named in the team is Tharindu Kaushal, fresh from his five wicket haul and Vishwa Fernando who has been marked as a future spearhead for the national team.
