Mahindian Thamitha Kalhara registered stunning bowling figures of six for 42 runs while Pasindu Dilshan claimed three for 18 as hosts Nalanda College collapsed to a mediocre first innings total of 110 in their U-19 inter-school cricket match which began at Campbell Place today.

The duo combined to trouble Nalandians at regular intervals as Nalanda failed to find a decent partnership to drag them out of trouble. Mahinda however made a strong reply with Dulash Udayanga making an unbeaten 61 to finish day one on 148 for five. Ishara Akalanka also made 44 runs. Kavindu Bandara was the pick of the bowler for Nalanda with three for 41.
