Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav and bowler Deepak Chahar have been ruled out from the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka due to injuries.
Yadav has suffered hairline fracture on his hand while seamer Chahar had picked up a hamstring injury during India’s last T20I against West Indies.
As per the reports, BCCI are not expected to name replacements for the injured duo due to the bio-security protocols set for the series. With this development, India are left with a 16-member squad for the T20I series against Sri Lanka.

The 3-match T20I series between Sri Lanka and India will be played from 24th to 27th February in Lucknow and Dharmasala.
