Hurricanes coach Chris Boyd, who took the Kiwi team to Super Rugby title, will be in Sri Lanka to make a presentation and have a Q&A session with the local coaches.
Boyd is said to have accepted an invitation made by Inthi Marikar, high performance director of Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU), to conduct this program. The event will take place on the28th October at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo.
Boyd is expected to talk about how the Hurricanes succeeded in the concluded Super Rugby Series and will speak on his experience in the world of professional rugby. Speaking to ThePapare, Marikar stated that since New Zealand is the country to which the entire Rugby World looks as the benchmark in terms of skill and performance, speaking to someone who has experienced that kind of professional environment will be invaluable to rugby educators in the country.
He went on to say that the SLRFU will look to continue with this type of initiative on a regular basis which will help Sri Lanka rugby go forward.
