The Sports arm of Butterfly Vacations, Sri Lanka (Kreeda Holidays ) in collaboration with the Stamford High School have organized to bring down an Under 17 Netball & Hockey Team to Sri Lanka from the 8th – 21st of July 2013
The team will be touring all across the country playing friendly Netball fixtures and two Hockey Tournaments. The team fixtures are as follows.
09th July 2013- Ave Maria Convent, Negombo- Netball games (03.00 PM- 06.00 PM)
11th July 2013- Sigiriya Central College- Netball games (10.00 AM- 01.00 PM)
12th July 2013- Astro Turf, Matale- Hockey games (10.00 AM- 01.00 PM)
13th July 2013- Astro Turf, Matale- Hockey Tournament (09.00 AM- 01.00 PM & 02.00 PM-06.00 PM)
14th July 2013- University of Peradeniya- Netball games (08.30 AM- 11.00 AM)
18th July 2013- Austasia Indoor Sports Complex- Netball games (03.00 PM-06.00 PM)
19th July 2013- Astro Turf, Torrington- Hockey games- (03.00 PM- 06.00 PM)
20th July 2013- Astro Turf, Torrington- Hockey Tournament – (10.00 AM- 05.00 PM)
This will be a great opportunity for students participating from both countries to mix with each other and enjoy a time of fellowship along with the friendly games.
The organizes are also expecting the participation of the below mentioned schools teams for this event- Ave Maria Convent, Negombo, Sigiriya Maha Vidyalaya, Dambulla Central College, Mahamaya College, Kandy, St. Anthony’s Convent, Katugasthota, Swarnamali Balika School, Matale Hockey Academy, Presidents Balika Vidyalaya, Vishaka Vidyalaya, Musues College, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya, Yashodara Balika Vidyalaya, Kottawa Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya, Sri Sumangala Balika Vidyalaya, Bishops’ College, Colombo and Royal Institute International School.
