Even after getting the first try, Joes kept the pressure on, but the Wesley youngsters defended well for a while. However, it was the Joes who got the next try after a hard-fought battle in the opposition 22, ending the first half 12-0.

The second half was very back and forth with most of the action taking place in the Joes half. Finally, after a long scoreless half the Joes number 15, Rahel who scored their first try as well, once again with a good run, broke through the Wesley defense to get the Joes their third try of the game.
