Sri Ranga Jeyaratnam has been elected as the new President of Football Federation of Sri Lanka at the 2023 elections held today (14th Jan) at the Sports Ministry Auditorium.

He narrowly defeated Jagath De Silva from the Nawalapitiya Football League 27 votes to 24 to become the new President. Former President Jaswar Umar’s eligibility was cancelled by the Ministry of Sports at the eleventh hour.
