Former Sri Lanka women’s batting coach, Wasantha Jayasekara, has moved to India as the head coach of the leading sports academy ‘Sheen Sports Alliance’.
Wasantha is a prominent coach in Sri Lanka with over 18 years of experience under his belt. He has coached some of the leading schools like De Mazenod, St. Joseph’s and S. Thomas’ during his time as a school’s coach in Sri Lanka. His tenure with the Sri Lanka women in 2012 marks the peak of his career. Wasantha has worked with many first-class cricketers in Sri Lanka including the upcoming star Roshen Silva.
Sheen Sports Alliance is an upcoming sports academy based in Banglore. It is a multi versatile sports academy which offers cricket, badminton, gymnastics, gym, aerobics, zumba and dance.
