Sri Lanka Women’s ODI squad announced for West Indies series

The 16-member Sri Lanka Women’s National Cricket squad has been announced for the three-match ODI series against West Indies Women’s Cricket Team.

The team is set to be led by their regular Captain and experienced batter – Chamari Athapaththu. She heads the batting unit that includes Vishmi Gunaratne, Harshitha Samarawickrama, Hasini Perera, Nilakshi de Silva, Kavisha Dilhari, Hansima Karunaratne and Anushka Sanjeewani.

On the bowling front, Inoka Ranaweera heads a spin department that also includes Sugandika Kumari, Inoshi Fernando and Sachini Nisansala, while Udeshika Prabodhani, Achini Kulasuriya and Kawya Kavindi round out the seam-bowling unit.

The three-match ODI series between the sides will be played from the 15^th to the 21^st of June at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota.
