The invitational indoor cricket – club tournament between Sri Lanka and South Africa concluded last Saturday (27th) at the Austasia International Indoor Cricket Stadium, Thalawathugoda. The tournament was organized by ‘Indoor Cricket Event Management’.

This tournament facilitated five (05) categories of teams in which the two countries battled it out on the court, putting up an entertaining atmosphere throughout the four days. The tournament was played in five categories.

The primary objective of the tournament was to revive this sport which seems to have slightly lost its way, even though numerous tournaments have been carried out both in a local perspective as well as on an international level since the 2004 world cup held in Sri Lanka.
