Before the departure Coach Collin Denish shared his view point to ThePapare.Com saying that this team trained hard in the last two weeks and he is looking forward to the challenge. He further justified the reason of selecting Kevin Dixon as the captain staying that he has led junior Tuskers previously in the U18 national youth sevens which was held in China in 2013.
Little Dixon also said that although two weeks training is not enough, they are in a good form after playing the club sevens. He further stated that the coaching staff were helpful, as they know the strength and weaknesses of our players well, ‘hopefully we will make mother Lanka proud’.
