The Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA) and Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) are in the process of selecting the Sri Lanka Juniors who will take part in the Commonwealth Youth Games to be held from the 17th – 23rd July in the Bahamas.
Around 50 students took part in the trials which were held this morning (20th April) will have their final trials on Saturday the 22nd at the Racecourse Grounds from 9am.

The SLSRFA and Sri Lanka Rugby along with the national selectors are expected to further cut down the squad to a pool of 25 this Saturday; there were a few notable absentees in those present at the trials from Isipathana, Royal and Trinity College.
Meanwhile, National sevens coach Peter Woods, high performance director Inthi Marikar, Rajeev Perera, Mushtaq Jiffery and Dilan Zoysa are said to be aiding the progress of the young Tuskers.
