Sri Lanka Cricket today announced that the national team will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for late Pandit W. D Amaradeva when they take the field in Harare for the 2nd Test match against Zimbabwe which commences on Sunday (Tomorrow).
Veteran singer and musician late Pandith W. D. Amaradewa passed away on Thursday morning and his funeral was held today evening at Independence Square with full state honours.
Sri Lanka won the first Test by 225 runs under their new leader, Rangana Herath.
