Warner is now fifth in batting table while Kulasekara is enjoying his career-best ranking
Sri Lanka has strengthened its hold as the number-one ranked side on the Reliance ICC T20I Championship Table following its 2-0 series win over host Australia on Monday.
Sri Lanka, which needed to win just one of the two matches in the series to retain its top spot, gained four ratings points to finish on 131 ratings points – nine ratings points ahead of second-placed ICC World Twenty20 2012 champion West Indies.
Australia, on the other hand, has retained its seventh place but has lost four ratings points to end at 104, 12 ratings points behind sixth-placed Pakistan.
Australia next plays West Indies in a one-off Twenty20 International on 13 February in Brisbane.

Warner, Kulasekara make positive gains
Meanwhile, injury to Shane Watson has meant that Brendon McCullum has regained the top slot in the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for T20I batsmen.
In the latest rankings, released on Tuesday morning, Mahela Jayawardene has also moved up a place to third in the batting table, while Australia’s David Warner, who made scores of 90 not out and seven in the two matches against Sri Lanka, has jumped five places to fifth position.
Other batsmen to gain in the latest batting list are Angelo Mathews in 49th (up by four), George Bailey in 53rd (up by nine), Thisara Perera in 81st (up by 23), Jeevan Mendis in 89th (up by five) and Shaun Marsh in 99th (up by 32).
In the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for T20I bowlers, Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Kulasekara has jumped two places to a career-best fourth position with best-ever 676 ratings points. The other bowler inside the top 20 to make an improvement is Lasith Malinga, who has moved up a place to 13th.
Mitchell Starc in 32nd (up by nine), Xavier Doherty in 49th (up by 28) and Glenn Maxwell in 98th (up by 33) are the other bowlers to improve their rankings
The bowlers’ table is still headed by Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal, followed by Sri Lanka’s Ajantha Mendis in second and Graeme Swann in third place.
Sri Lanka’s Twenty20 captain Angelo Mathews has moved up a place to eighth in the all-rounders’ table, which is headed by Shane Watson
