The press conference for the “Sri Lanka Schools’ Colours Awards Ceremony 2015” was held on the 1st of June at CR&FC. The event was graced by the presence of legendary sports administrator Mr. Sunil Jayaweera who initiated this ceremony back in 1994.
The representatives of sponsor MILO and Mr. Sunil Jayaweera spoke about the importance in developing sports in schools as it is the grass root level which will help unearth future champions for the country. They also spoke about the key role media plays in showcasing the young talent of this country. The schools colours awards ceremony was announced to be held on the 10th of June at the BMICH.
