Dharmashoka Vidyalaya emerged victorious in the final against OKI International in a close match, scoring 59 points to 52, after leading 34 points to 32 at Half time. The first quarter of the match was the tightest with only a point being the difference and as the game progressed Dharmashoka built up a slight gap in their favour with some stolen balls.
Leading up to the finals, Dharmashoka defeated CIS Kandy 82 points to 71 while in the other semi-final OKI defeated Lyceum Gampaha 54 points to 30. OKI ran away with the game in the 3rd quarter opening up a huge gap and went into the finals favourites although they eventually lost.
