The two Sri Lankan teams which qualified for the Red Bull Half Court World Championships through the preliminary round of competiton, took wing to Egypt for the next step of the assignment.
This tournament will follow the concept of 3×3 basketball with some slight changes. Chanuka Fernando, Nimesh Fernando, Pawan Gamage and Rukshan Athapaththu will represent the country in the Men’s category whilst Anjalee Ekanayake, Benika Thalagala, Nihari Perera and Lubna Morseth who toured in all 3 international tournaments this year will represent the country in the Women’s category.
The two teams will be accompanied by their coach Shivashkthi Selvaraja.
