Following the policy of budding youth, Sri Lanka Cricket announced an ODI squad for the oncoming Bangladesh tour inundated with freshers.
The following 16 member squad was selected for 1st two ODI games for the Bangladesh Tour of Sri Lanka.

Rangana Herath has been left out in order to afford him a rest. It is stated that T M Dishan will be considered subject to fitness.
As announced previously Mahela Jayawardana was not considered due to injury.
