Scored 30 and Yoshoda Mendis helped with a quick 22 to beef-up the 138.
Even though the score of 138 was not daunting, the Sri Lankan bowlers stuck to their task which made South Africa lose wickets regularly.
Sri Lanka curtailed South Africa for 118 for 8 in their allotted twenty over falling short by 20 runs and conceding the match to the visitors.
