Two matches in the Tier B of SLC Premier League Tournament started today at Bloomfield grounds and Surrey grounds, Maggona.
Panadura Sports Club Vs Bloomfield Cricket Academy
Panadura Sports Club won the toss and elected to bat first at Bloomfield grounds, Colombo to commence the 2nd week of the Tier B tournament of Sri Lanka Premier League.
The game was disturbed by the constant rain and wet outfield and only 48 overs were bowled during the day. Former Royalist Imran Khan went through the visitors’ batting line up in no time to restrict Panadura SC for 156 runs. 29-year-old right hand batsman Vinodh Perera scored a valuable knock of 43 runs to keep Panadura SC in the game.

The 2nd game in week 2 of the Premier League Tournament Tier B was held at Surrey grounds, Maggona. Navy Sports Club won the toss and put the hosts to bat due to wet outfield.
Lankan Cricket Club punish Kalutara Town Club
The game started at about 12 o clock but had to be stopped before tea as the heavens opened again. Kaluthara SC were 37/4 when they left the field.
