An Extraordinary General Meeting of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) was held on 19th May (Saturday) at SLC premises in Colombo.
New date proposed for SLC elections
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has proposed a new date, 31 st May 2018 for the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Under the directive of Sports Minister Faiszer Musthapa, SLC unanimously appointed an Election Committee to conduct the election to elect the office bearers. The EGM was called mainly to appoint the Election Committee
The Annual General Meeting will now be conducted on the 31st May in compliance with the directive issued by the Sports Minister under the powers vested in him by section 39(1) of the Sports Law No. 25 of 1973 (as amended) on advice of the Honorable Attorney General subsequent to regularization of the appointment of the SLC Elections Committee.
