During the event, schools in the Colombo District were handed over the balls, while for the rest of the schools, distribution is currently underway via the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association.

Accordingly, over 10,000 cricket balls will be distributed among 490 schools playing in the U19 school tournament, covering divisions 1, 2, and 3, and is conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association.
