The Sugathadasa Stadium was the host for the Colombo Super League final matches played last evening. Colombo ‘B’ faced off against Moratuwa SC in the Men’s ‘B’ division final while HSC Blues played Colombo ‘A’ in the Men’s ‘A’ division final. In the Women’s final Trackmasters SC played Army SC.
Men’s ‘B’ Division Final – Colombo ‘B’ vs Moratuwa SC
Moratuwa SC put up a superior performance to be crowned the champions of the Colombo Super League Men’s ‘B’ Division final. They won the match by a margin of 14 points. Gayan Meedeniya and Shawn Ramanayake were the main offensive players for Moratuwa SC scoring 23 and 19 points respectively for their team. Chanuka Fernando was the highest scorer for Colombo ‘B’ securing 21 points for her team.

Women’s Final – Trackmasters SC vs Army SC
The Women’s final went in favour of Trackmasters SC, winning by a massive 31 points, with a final score line of 63-32. Prasadi Fonseka and Solange Gunawijaya were the highest scorers for Trackmasters securing 15 and 14 points respectively for their team. Dilumi Gunawardhana was the main offensive player for Army scoring 13 points for her team. Trackmasters SC managed a comfortable 32-point win.

Men’s ‘A’ Final – Colombo ‘A’ Vs HSC Blues
HSC Blues were crowned champions of the Men’s ‘A’ division final, winning by a margin of 17 points, with a final score line of 74-57. Clinton Stalon and Mithila Abeysekara were the main offensive players for Blues scoring 23 and 11 points for their team respectively. Sudesh Ahamed was the highest scorer for Colombo SC securing 17 points.
The Blues made sure that the Colombo men were restricted from scoring by tightening their defence.
