Pakistan ‘A’ registered a comfortable win over Sri Lanka ‘A’ in the first unofficial Test between the two sides worked off today (14th November) at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
After trailing by 143 runs, Sri Lanka showcased a brilliant fightback in the second innings to set a competitive target for the hosts.

Wanuja Sahan (73), Pasindu Sooriyabandara (64), Sonal Dinusha (62), Pavan Rathnayake (60) and Ahan Wickramasinghe (53) scored valiant half-centuries helping Sri Lanka ‘A’ post a commanding total – 364 for their second innings.

The hosts were set a target of 222, which they chased down quite convincingly with 7 wickets in hand. Mohammad Suleman (86) and Ali Zaryab (83*) were the chief architects of Pakistan ‘A’ successful run-chase as they notched up excellent half-centuries.
