Sri Lankan national selectors have named a 15-member Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad to play in the 2nd One Dayer against England Lions.
The selectors have made three changes to the squad that played the 1st One Dayer yesterday (15th February).
Spin-bowling all-rounder Dunith Wellalage and seamers Isitha Wijesundera and Amshi de Silva will replace seaming all-rounder Chamika Karunarathne, seamer Milan Rathnayake and left-arm spinner Praveen Jayawickrama in the squad.
Sri Lanka ‘A’ suffered a 4-wicket defeat in the 1st One Dayer played at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium. The two sides will meet in the 2nd One Dayer on the 18th February at the same venue.
The Sri Lanka “A” team’s playing XI for the second One Dayer against England Lions will be selected from the below 15-member squad. Wicket-keeper batter Sadeera Samarawickrama will continue to lead the Sri Lankan squad.
