South Africa will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against Sri Lanka from 2nd to 14th September. All the six matches will be played at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo.

The three ODIs will be a part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League. This tour was originally scheduled to be played in 2020 in the Future Tours Programme. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tour was postponed.
The Proteas last toured Sri Lanka in 2018. The tour will be played without spectators in a bio-bubble environment.
